Feathers, Wool, and Fur:
A Hint of the Wild
Who can resist our furry and feathered creatures, flitting through branches, colours highlighting a bit of bark, or the exotic: an angry rhinoceros or a silly camel. Then there are the ones closer to home, domestic animals cosying up to some lost vision in a nursery rhyme, a pig playing in the mud, a little lost lamb.Painting animals and birds allows me a kind of peace, brush strokes touching the canvas seeming more like patting a creature I would not otherwise feel close to. Such a privilege!
