High Park: Sunday Afternoons
There is nothing like a walk in the park. In High Park especially, the Grand Dame of city parks, trails lead in and out of the woods and follow the edges of Grenadier Pond.It is a place where stages collide: a large tree trunk falls across the water and branches remain to remind us of its presence; a living tree is reflected in the moving water; branches move, change, break. It is a feast of light and shadow that allows the artist to join the party.
